As a journalist, I have joined Alboan so that the reality that women live is known and to remember that women do not migrate, women are refugees. I have decided to stand on the side of peace, of human rights and I invite you to do the same

I lend my voice to Alboan to visualize the implications that our day-to-day decisions have on the environment in general and the Amazon in particular. And I am not alone: ​​I have other women in my community, who broke with those unfair and violent discourses and I can affirm that we are the women who lead in the territory.

Alboan has been helping Kalangarai since the tsunami; When the civil war ended, the situation of many widowed women worsened. Together with Alboan we work so that widowed women belonging to the Dalit caste can live in a more just society, enjoy greater autonomy, participate in public life and have alternative sources of income
