Safe Environment

ALBOAN is committed to working to build and guarantee safe environments in which the activities carried out and the relationships established are aimed at promoting the well-being of the person, promoting the culture of good treatment, guaranteeing respect between all people, assert their rights and collaborate in their personal growth.

As a work of the Society of Jesus, our activity is aimed at contributing to the “integral good of the people who come into contact with it.” As an update of this formulation, ALBOAN's identity and mission framework justifies the concern to ensure that situations of harassment and abuse can be prevented and, if detected, have a channel through which they can be managed.

The construction of an alternative culture and communities of solidarity begins with our own transformation, as people and as an organization. In order to advance on this path, we developed this “Policy to guarantee safe environments free of sexual or moral harassment and abuse.”
